§ 50.080 PUBLIC SANITARY SEWER CONNECTION CHARGES.
   (A)   The permit fee for making connection to any public sanitary sewer mains of the system within the corporate limits for property adjacent to the public sewer mains, to be hereinafter designated as a sanitary sewage tap-on fee, shall be as follows:

(1)   Single-family home
$1,500
(2)   Duplex-family home
$1,750
(3)   Apartments, condominiums, or multiple- family dwellings (plus $100 for each unit)
$1,500
(4)   Commercial and service buildings (plus cost to be determined by the Village Board at the time of application)
$1,500
(5)   Industrial buildings (plus cost to be determined by the Village Board at the time of application)
$1,500

   (B)   The fees to be charged for a permit to tap or otherwise make a connection with any sewer main shall be determined in such manner and in such amounts as shall be prescribed by ordinance adopted by the President and Board from time to time.
   (C)   Also with respect to property adjacent to public sanitary sewer mains and in addition to the cost of the sanitary sewer tap-on fees for each connection, there shall be an additional connection charge (hereinafter sometimes designated as sanitary sewer property charge) to users connecting to such public sanitary sewer mains constructed or acquired by the village of $1,600 plus $32 for each front foot that the lot frontage exceeds 50 feet, and such sanitary sewer property charge shall be designated for the construction, expansion, and extension of the works of the system.
      (1)   The funds thus collected shall be used by the village for its general corporate purposes with primary application thereof being made by the necessary expansion of the works of the system to meet the requirements of new users thereof.
      (2)   The front footage is determined by the width of the side of the lot, as recorded, which the house faces. In no event is this section to be construed as obligating the village to construct public sewer mains in areas not now served where the sanitary sewer property charge hereinabove will not adequately reimburse the village of the cost of such construction.
   (D)   The sanitary sewer property charge for making connection to any sanitary sewer mains utilizing the public sanitary sewer system within the corporate limits, for property which is not immediately adjacent to the public sanitary sewer mains, or when the front foot determination is uncertain, shall be $2,000 plus the showing of proof of the necessary easements.
