§ 34.44 POWERS AND DUTIES OF PENSION FUND BOARD OF TRUSTEES.
   (A)   The Board of Trustees of the Police Pension Fund shall have the powers granted to it by statute including but not limited to the duty to control, manage, and disburse the Pension Fund in accordance with state statutes. ('79 Code, § 500(13e))
   (B)   The Board of Trustees shall have the power to make rules appropriate to carrying out its statutory and ordinance powers, but no such rule shall be made to govern the operation of the Police or Fire Departments or the conduct of their members.

   (C)   The Board of Trustees shall establish and maintain a reserve to insure the payment of all obligations incurred under this subchapter, meeting such requirements and levels as required by statute. ('79 Code, § 500(13h))
