The members of the Board of Police Commissioners shall elect one of their number as Chairperson to serve during each municipal year. A majority of the Board shall constitute a quorum for the conduct of all business. The Board may appoint a Secretary or designate one of its own members to act as Secretary. The members of the Board and the Secretary of the Board shall serve without compensation unless such compensation is approved and provided for by the Board of Trustees.
