§ 33.06 EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION RATES.
   The Fire Chief shall maintain a fee schedule, which shall be prominently displayed in the Fire Department and which shall be freely accessible to all residents and citizens, showing the current charges the Village Board has determined shall be charged by the department for emergency transportation and advanced life support. The fee schedule shall be set by motion of the Village Board and shall be updated as necessary. The Fire Department will be responsible for billing the users of its services, and to do so, it may enter into contracts, subject to approval of the Village Board, for management and billing of these accounts. In maintaining its accounts, including those of its billing contractor, the Fire Department must maintain patient confidentiality as required by federal and state law. All funds received from these accounts shall be turned in promptly to the Village Treasurer.
