§ 32.62 JURISDICTION; AUTHORITY, POWERS AND DUTIES.
   The Recreation Board shall have the following authority, powers and duties:
   (A)   To act as an advisory board to the Mayor and Village Board of Trustees by preparing and recommending comprehensive plans for the development, procurement, use, scheduling and maintenance of all parks, park buildings, athletic facilities, grounds and equipment;
   (B)   To hold public meetings concerning the necessity, costs and overall community impact of proposing, developing, improving and maintaining new and existing parks and athletic facilities;

   (C)   To prepare and recommend to the Mayor and Board of Trustees, from time to time, plans concerning overall development and specific improvements to new and existing parks, park buildings and athletic facilities;
   (D)   To arrange and conduct any form of publicity relative to the parks, recreational programs, athletic facilities, grounds and equipment for the general purpose of promoting public awareness and utilization of these public resources; and
   (E)   To develop and recommend implementation of "public use" safety rules and regulations for parks, park buildings, athletic facilities, grounds and equipment.
