(A) The PZB shall consist of seven members. Those persons serving as members of the PZB at the time of the enactment of this section shall retain their positions for the terms previously established. At the conclusion of each member's term, a successor to each of them shall be appointed by the Village President and shall serve a term of five years. One member of the PZB shall be designated as Chairperson, but shall retain full voting rights in such position. It shall be the Chairperson's duty to preside over the public hearings and meetings of the PZB.
(B) The Village President shall have the power to remove any member of the PZB for cause and after a public hearing.
(C) Each member of the PZB shall be paid $20 for each public hearing attended, provided that the Chairperson shall receive $30 for each such public hearing.
