(A) The initial term for the office of Prosecuting Attorney shall begin upon appointment and approval by the Board of Trustees and shall terminate upon the first Tuesday of May, 1994. The term thereafter for the office of the Prosecuting Attorney for the village shall be for one year and shall expire upon the first Tuesday of each May.
(B) The Board of Trustees may remove the Village Prosecutor at any time upon motion and approval by a majority of two-thirds of the members of the Board of Trustees.
