§ 31.087 AUTHORITY TO ISSUE STOP ORDERS.
   Whenever the Plumbing Inspector shall find plumbing work being done in violation of the village ordinances, the State Plumbing Code, or the Building Officials Code Administrators, he shall have the power to order the work stopped until the requirements are satisfied. It shall be unlawful to continue any such work after such a stop order has been issued, except upon the written permission of the Village President or the Plumbing Inspector. However, where such stop order is made orally, it shall be followed by a written order within eight hours.
