§ 94.16 PERIODIC INSPECTIONS.
   (A)   Subject to the limitations and conditions stated in the North Carolina Building Code, it shall be the duty of the Fire Chief, and his or her designees, to inspect or cause to be inspected all buildings, structures and premises within the jurisdiction of the town for the purposes of ascertaining and causing to be corrected any condition which may cause fire or explosion, endanger life from fire or explosion, or any violations of the provisions of the code, or any other ordinances pertaining to fire or explosion hazards in accordance with the minimum periodic inspection schedule for occupancies approved by the North Carolina Building Code Council, or upon complaint by interested parties or if there is given probable cause for such inspection.
   (B)   Fire inspections shall be conducted on all occupancies, except one and two-family dwellings.
