§ 32.038  AUTOMATIC-AID AND MUTUAL AID AGREEMENTS AUTHORIZED.
   (A)   The Chief of the Fire-Rescue-EMS Department is hereby authorized to enter into mutual/automatic aid assistance agreements with other fire and EMS (Emergency Medical Services) agencies in accordance with such reasonable arrangements, terms and conditions as may be agreed upon between the respective heads of the agencies involved in the reciprocal assistance.
   (B)   The Chief of the Fire-Rescue-EMS Department is hereby authorized to enter into mutual assistance arrangements with other municipal and county fire and EMS agencies, provided that the head of the requesting agency or agencies makes the request in writing.
   (C)   This authority shall be given to the Fire Chief for any arrangement that provides for the emergency response capability of the town and incurs no financial burden upon the town.
