The following is hereby resolved by the Town Council:
(A) The extension of the Pitt County Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance on March 24, 2014, and its applicability and effect within the planning jurisdiction of the Town of Winterville, is hereby confirmed.
(B) The town recognizes the extension of the jurisdiction of the Pitt County Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance to be applied in the Town of Winterville pursuant to G.S. 153A-122 and G.S. 143-215.57.
(C) The County Planning Director, or his or her designee, is hereby appointed to administer and implement the provisions of this resolution within the planning jurisdiction of the town.
