All tree pruning on public property shall conform to the American National Standards Institute title, Tree Care Operations - Tree, Shrub and Other Woody Plant Maintenance Standard Practices (ANSI A300, Part 1-2001).
(A) ANSI A300 provides standard definitions for tree care maintenance; performance standards for tree pruning operations; performance standards for utility line clearance; and performance standards for writing tree pruning specifications.
(B) This standard was listed for public review in the December 15, 2000 issue of Standards Action.
