   The following town limits are taken from the amendment of the town limits dated September, 1991.
   The corporate limits and boundaries of the town embrace the following territory:
   Lying and being in Pitt County, Winterville Township, Winterville, North Carolina and beginning at a concrete monument in the eastern right-of-way of North Carolina Highway 11 (NC 11). This point of beginning lying southerly the following courses and distances from the intersection of the eastern right-of-way of NC 11 and the southern right-of-way of West Main Street of Winterville (SR 1133), a concrete monument: Along the eastern right-of-way of NC 11, S00°5303"E, 20.39 feet to a concrete monument; thence S39°5831"W, 133.62 feet to a concrete monument; thence S03°3119"W, 1094.88 feet to a concrete monument; thence S04°3925"W, 59.92 feet to the aforesaid point of beginning, a concrete monument, this point being shown as Point 2 on a map by Carolina Benchmark, Engineers-Surveyors-Planners, Incorporated, dated February 6, 1989 and recorded in the Pitt County Register of Deeds Office on Map Book 37, Page 82. Worthington et al (D.B.    The Town of Winterville Corporate Area as depicted in the above description excluding Areas 1, 2, and 3 that are not incorporated in the Town, is composed of 811.3 acres more or less.
