The town shall place and maintain traffic-control signs, signals and devices when and as required under the Traffic Code or any other traffic ordinances of the town to make effective the provisions of the code or ordinances, and may place and maintain the additional traffic-control devices to regulate traffic under the Traffic Code and any other traffic ordinances of the town.
