§ 53.05  CREDIT HISTORY.
The town will maintain a confidential credit history on all customers based on payment of utility bills.  A customer's credit history shall be classified good unless the customer has appeared on the cut-off list, though not necessarily cut-off, during any preceding 12-month period, or has issued a bad check to the town during any preceding 12-month period.  The cut-off list will be prepared each month by the town from customers who fail to pay utility accounts by the final payment date.  A list of bad checks received by the town shall be kept on a continual basis.
