5-3-8: PROTEST OF IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FEE:
   A.   Any owner of property to whom notice of intent to impose an improvement project fee is given pursuant to section 5-3-7 of this chapter may, within fifteen (15) days after the mailing of such notice, submit a protest in writing to the town council.
   B.   Any written protest shall state, with particularity, the reasons why the property owner contends that the imposition of the improvement project fee, or the amount of the fee, is improper or inequitable.
   C.   The town council shall consider the protest at a regularly scheduled council meeting. The town council may grant, deny, or grant in part and deny in part, any protest. The town council's decision on the protest shall be made in writing and shall be mailed to the property owner. (Ord. 354, Series of 2005)
