A. Personal privilege. Every license issued under this chapter shall be purely a personal privilege limited to the term of the license, and shall not be the property of the licensee.
B. License not transferable. No license issued under this chapter shall be transferred to another person or persons, and neither the licensee nor any other person shall be authorized to transfer any rights granted by a license to any person other than the named licensee. No person licensed to conduct or engage in the taxicab business in the Village shall allow any person to drive a taxicab under his or her license unless such person has also obtained a license from the Village under this chapter.
