The city may choose to bury electric wires, through a plan created by Public Works, by block(s) on a budgeted basis until the entire city has underground wires. If a private citizen wants his or her electric wire buried by the city, prior to their block being completed, the private citizen can contact the city to make that request. Any bury request fulfilled by the city will be at the private citizen’s individual expense.
