(A) (1) The Planning Commission shall elect its Chairperson from among its members for a term of one year with eligibility for re-election.
(2) The Chairperson may fill other offices as the Planning Commission may create in a manner prescribed by the rules of such Commission.
(B) Meetings shall be regularly scheduled and held at the call of the Chairperson and at such other times as the Planning Commission may determine. The Chairperson, or in his or her absence, the Acting Chairperson, may administer oaths and compel the attendance of witnesses. All meetings shall be open to the public, except as provided by SDCL § 1-25-2.
