§ 32.02 PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSIONER WITH ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES.
   The Mayor shall appoint, with the approval of the Council, a Public Safety Commissioner to manage and oversee the operations of the Police Department, the Jail, the 911 Communications Department and the Code Enforcement Office. The Public Safety Commissioner shall perform such duties, including administrative duties pursuant to the job description, as prescribed by the Council, pursuant to SDCL § 9-14-3.
