(A) The purpose of this subchapter is to help protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens by preventing blight, protecting property values and preserving the integrity of neighborhoods by avoiding the creation of nuisances and nuisance properties, thus ensuring the safe and sanitary maintenance of dwellings, commercial and industrial buildings and the properties on which they exist.
(B) The various registries will provide up to date emergency contact information for every applicable structure, building conditions, usage and locations for use by first responders and the Planning and Zoning Administrator to maintain an open line of communication between the city and the property owners.
