All addresses shall be numbers, no script, and shall be posted on the structure in such a way that they will be visible at night, as well as daylight, using the following guidelines.
(A) Numbers shall be a contrasting color to the background that they are attached to.
(B) Numbers shall be a minimum of five inches in height if the structure is 50 feet or less from the roadway.
(C) Numbers shall be a minimum of seven inches in height if the structure is from 50 feet to 200 feet from the roadway.
(D) Numbers shall be a minimum of ten inches in height if the structure is from 200 feet to 300 feet from the roadway.
(E) Numbers shall be a minimum of 12 inches in height if the structure is 300 to 400 feet from the roadway.
(F) If the structure is not visible from the roadway because of terrain, trees or other obstructions, or if the structure is more than 400 feet from the roadway, the address numbers shall be posted on a post at the entrance of the driveway to the structure. The numbers on the post shall be a minimum of four inches in height and shall be visible from both sides of the approach to the entrance. The post with the numbers shall be a minimum of four feet in height above the ground in a visible location within 20 feet of the roadway.
(G) A violation of this section shall be subject to enforcement as set forth in the administrative citation provisions of this code, §§ 150.090 et seq. The Code Enforcement Officer shall give notice to the owner or person in charge of any property that is not in compliance, by certified mail or personal service, advising them of the violation. If the violation is not corrected within 20 days of the date of the notice, the Code Enforcement Officer shall be authorized to issue an administrative citation to the owner or person in charge of the property.
