Every operator of any bus and cab licensed hereunder shall be inspected for proper functioning and safety of the systems of the vehicle, including, but not limited to, brakes, exhaust, lights, seat belts, windows and mirrors, as well as the cleanliness of the vehicle; and every operator shall clean the interior of each taxi and bus after each days operation. Such inspection shall be conducted by the Chief of Police or his or her designee.
