All licenses granted hereunder shall continue in effect until the first Monday in May after date of issuance and such license shall not be transferable. The license shall be issued in the name of the city and shall be signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Finance Officer. If the term for which said license shall be issued is less than six months before its expiration date, the license fee payable by such applicant shall be one-half of the license fee as fixed in § 113.02.
