§ 130.02  USE OR DISCHARGE OF AIR GUNS AND SLING SHOTS BY MINORS PROHIBITED.
   (A)   Prohibitions.
      (1)   It shall be unlawful for anyone under the age of 18 years to use or discharge any air gun, which would include pneumatic or CO2 or any propellent, either man-made or manufactured as to propel a projectile, either man-made, manufactured or vegetable from the barrel of the gun.  This would include air rifles, BB guns, pellet guns, paint ball and splat ball guns, blow guns or any other guns designed to shoot a projectile through the air within the corporate limits of the city.
      (2)   It shall be unlawful for anyone under the age of 18 years to use or discharge any sling shot, wrist rocket sling, bow and arrows, cross bow and arrows or spear within the corporate limits of the city, except a bow and arrow may be used at an archery range with adult supervision.
   (B)   Parent or guardian responsibility.
      (1)   It shall be unlawful for a parent or guardian of anyone under the age of 18 years to knowingly permit the person to use or discharge any of the above mentioned items within the corporate limits of the city, except a bow and arrow may be used at an archery range with adult supervision.
      (2)   It shall be unlawful for a parent or guardian of anyone under the age of 18 to knowingly permit such person to carry any of the above mentioned items on or about his or her person within the corporate limits of the city.
