§ 110.01  COIN OPERATED MUSIC PLAYING DEVICES.
   (A)   License required.  It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to operate in a public place in the city any coin operated music playing device or devices, same commonly called “juke boxes,” unless licensed by the Council of the city and according to provisions of this section.
   (B)   Licensing of juke boxes.  Any person, firm or corporation wishing to obtain a license under this section shall fill out and file with the City Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer an application for license on a form approved by the Council, whereupon it shall be the duty of the City Administrator-Clerk- Treasurer to present the application to the Council at its next meeting, regular or special; and the Council may direct the City Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer to issue to the applicant the applied for license in the name of the City of Winnebago, upon the payment to the City Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer of the hereinafter provided for license fee.
   (C)   Term of license.  The license fee for each coin operated music playing device or similar device shall be the sum set forth in § 110.03 for one year or fraction thereof.  The license may be transferred to another location in this city upon filing a notice with the City Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer of the transfer and upon payment of a transfer fee determined by Council from time to time.
   (D)   Revocation of licenses.  Any license issued under the provisions of this section may be revoked by the City Council for a violation of any provision thereof.
