§ 93.20 CONCRETE MATERIALS.
   All materials used in sidewalk construction shall be as follows:
   (A)   Cement. Portland cement shall conform to ASTM Designation C150 for Type I Portland Cement.
   (B)   Fine aggregate. Fine aggregate shall consist of washed natural sand or crushed gravels and shall contain less than 2.5% by weight of spall materials and other deleterious substances. The fine aggregate shall conform to the following gradation.

   (C)   Coarse aggregate. The coarse aggregate shall consist of washed natural or crushed gravel or quarry rock. It shall contain less than 1.5% by weight of spall materials and less than 2.5% by weight of other soft particles. The coarse aggregate shall conform to the following gradation.

   (D)   Water. The water used in the production of concrete shall be clear, free of salts, oil and organic matter. The amount of water shall not exceed six gallons per sack (94 pounds) of cement, including the water retained by the aggregate.
   (E)   Admixtures. Air entraining admixtures may be used and shall conform to ASTM C-260. The total air content of air entraining concrete shall be within the limits of 4% to 7% by volume.
