(A) Violation of any provision of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor, punishable, upon conviction, by a fine not to exceed $50, or imprisonment for not more than 30 days, as provided in G.S. § 14-4.
(B) Furthermore, violation of any ordinance in this chapter shall subject the offender to a civil penalty of $50 to be recovered by the town within 30 days after such offender has been cited for violation of this chapter.
