§ 50.01  DEFINITIONS.
For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
GARBAGE.  All refuse, animal, fruit and other vegetable matter; all tin cans, glassware and crockery in which any such matter has been put up or stored; and all rags, waste paper, floor sweepings and other combustible refuse, except building material, scraps and tree trimmings.
LIMITED-USE DUMPSTER or TRASH RECEPTACLE.  Any dumpster or other trash receptacle placed and intended for deposit of garbage, trash and other materials only by residents of immediately surrounding apartment or residential units, or by employees of immediately surrounding business establishments, and which are emptied on a regular basis by arrangement with the Sanitation or Public Works Department of the town. Garbage and trash collection vehicles owned, leased or used by the town shall fall within this definition, as well as receptacles or dumpsters placed by residents or business.
UNAUTHORIZED PERSON.  Any person who is neither a resident or a guest of a resident of an apartment or residential unit in immediate proximity to a limited-use dumpster or trash receptacle, as defined above, nor an employee or patron of a business establishment in immediate proximity to such a dumpster or receptacle.
