Each local Board member shall be bonded in an amount not less than $5,000, secured by a corporate surety, for the faithful performance of his or her duties. A public employees’ blanket position bond in the required amount satisfies the requirements of this section. The bond shall be payable to the Town ABC Board and shall be approved by the Board of Commissioners. The Board of Commissioners may waive this requirement for Board members who do not handle Board funds, and may increase the amount for members who handle Board funds.
