A member of the Town ABC Board may be removed for cause at any time by the appointing authority. Local Board members are subject to the removal provisions of G.S. § 18B-202. Board members may be removed by a judge upon conviction of a violation of G.S. Chapter 18, or upon a conviction of a felony. Once convicted, the Board member is ineligible for membership of the Town ABC Board for a period of not longer than three years.
