(A) The town shall appoint an individual to serve in the capacity of Inspector and to carry out the duties enumerated under this chapter, and to have such powers as are herein set out in § 150.31, including those specified in G.S. § 160A-448, as amended from time to time.
(B) The Inspector shall serve until he or she is removed or replaced by the Board of Commissioners.
