APPENDIX C: SCHEDULE OF PARKING FACILITIES

Use	Required Parking Spaces
Adult entertainment	One space per 200 sq. ft. gross floor area
Bank, financial institution	One space per 100 sq. ft. of floor area devoted to general banking services (excluding vaults) for public use, plus one space per 250 sq. ft. devoted to office use; plus stacking space for six cars per drive-up window, and a bypass lane
Car lot	Six spaces per 1,000 sq. ft. of showroom gross floor area, plus one space per employee, plus one space per service bay. These spaces shall be used exclusively for employees and customers and shall not be used for sales or service
Car wash, full serve	One drying space plus two stacking spaces per washing space,a plus one parking space per employee on maximum work shift
Car wash, self serve	Four stacking spaces plus two drying spaces per washing stalla
Church	Two space per four seats in principal place of worshipb
Commercial stable	One space per two stalls
Day care center	One space per ten persons, based upon the center’s regulated capacity, designed for safe loading and unloading of persons; with four spaces minimum, plus one space per employee on maximum staff level shift
Dry cleaner	One space per 30 sq. ft. gross floor area
Fire or police station	One space per employee plus one space per three volunteer personnel on a normal shift. If a business office is included, one space per 200 sq. ft. of that office space is also required
Gas station, full service	One space per fuel pump, plus two spaces per grease rack or similar facility, plus one space per one and one-half employees. No work station used for repair of vehicles shall be credited toward this requirement
Gas station, self service	One and one-half spaces per fuel nozzle, plus one space per 50 sq. ft. of useable floor area in the cashier’s office and sales area
Golf course	Six spaces per hole, plus one space per employee on largest shift, plus 50% of spaces otherwise required for accessory uses
Group home	One space per two group home residents, plus one space per employee on shift of maximum employment
Hobby farm	Follow residential guidelines
Laundromat	One space per two washing machines
Liquor store	One space per 400 sq. ft. gross floor area
Manufacturing, light	One space per 500 sq. ft. gross floor area
Mini-mart	Five spaces per 1,000 sq. ft. gross floor area
Municipal building	One space per 200 sq. ft. gross floor area
Nursery or greenhouse	One space per 1,000 sq. ft. floor area, plus one space per 5,000 sq. ft. outside retail area
Post office	One space per 400 sq. ft. gross floor area, plus one space per employee on shift of maximum employment
Professional office, medical	Three spaces per treatment room or dental chair (whichever is greater), plus one space for each doctor, dentist, or staff person
Professional office, other	One space per 300 sq. ft. gross floor area
Recreational vehicle park	One and one-half spaces per recreational vehicle site
Residential, multi-family	Two spaces per dwelling unit plus 10%
Residential, single-family	Two spaces per dwelling unitc
Residential, three-family	Two spaces per dwelling unitc
Residential, two-family	Two spaces per dwelling unitc
Restaurant, dining	One space per 150 sq. ft. gross floor area or one space per two persons allowed in the maximum occupancy load, whichever is greater
Restaurant, fast food	Thirteen spaces per 1,000 sq. ft. gross floor area, plus six off-street stacking spaces per drive-in window, designed so as not to impede pedestrian or vehicular circulation on the site or on any abutting street; plus one bypass lane
Retail sales, other	One space per 200 sq. ft. gross floor area
Veterinarian	Four spaces per doctor, plus one space per additional employee
Notes:    a A washing stall or space is not a parking space.    b See § 156.057(B)    c No permanent on street parking will be allowed. Residents must have ability to store cars off of the public right-of-way exclusive of garages.
