(A) The President shall assume the chair of the presiding officer immediately after his or her election.
(B) The President of the Town Council shall:
(1) Preserve order and decorum;
(2) Decide all questions of order subject to approval by the Council;
(3) Announce the result of all votes by the Council upon all motions, resolutions, ordinances, and other matters; and
(4) Appoint all members of standing or special committees when established by the Council, subject to approval of the Council.
