§ 150.04 TERMS OF OFFICE.
   (A)   The term of office of a member of the Commission shall be as set forth below.
      (1)   The term of office of a member who is appointed from the membership of a legislative body is co-extensive with the member’s term of office on that body, unless the Council appoints, at its first regular meeting in any year, another to serve as its representative.
      (2)   Upon the initial appointment, two of the non-elected members shall have a term of three years and two of the non-elected members shall have a term of four years. These terms shall expire on the first Monday in January of the third or fourth year, as the case may be.
      (3)   A member serves until his or her successor is appointed and is qualified.
   (B)   If a vacancy occurs among the members of the Commission, the appointing authority shall appoint a member for the unexpired term of the vacating member.
