If the permit application is denied, the town may in its sole discretion, authorize the occurrence of the outdoor event/special event on a date, time, or area different from that identified by the applicant. An applicant accepting the alternate permit, and the terms/conditions contained therein, shall, within five calendar days after notice of the action of the town, file a written notice of acceptance with the town. In addition to any conditions imposed by the town on an alternate permit, an alternate permit issued under this division shall be subject to all the terms and conditions imposed on a standard permit issued under this chapter.
