§ 110.02 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   PEDDLER, HAWKER, VENDOR. A salesperson, trader or any person who carries as exhibit, products, goods, wares, or merchandise of any kind for the purpose of selling or offering for sale, barter, or exchange any product, goods, wares, or merchandise of any kind of description, whatsoever, traveling by foot, vehicle, or other conveyance, from place to place, from house to house, or in, about, along or upon any street, alley, or highway, or any other grounds in the town.
   PERSON. As used herein shall include the singular and plural and shall also mean and include any individual, firm, partnership, society, or entity organization.
   SOLICITOR. A person taking or attempting to take orders for the sale of products, goods, wares, and merchandise of any kind or description whatsoever, for future delivery, or for services to be furnished or performed in the future, whether or not such person has, carries or exposes for sale a sample of the subject of such sale or whether the person is collecting advance payment on such sales or not, traveling by foot or any type of conveyance, from place to place, from house to house, or in, along, about, any street or place within the corporate limits of the town.
