§ 111.23 PENALTIES.
   (A)   Upon determination by the Administrator that a contractor and/or tradesman is performing work and is not registered with the town in conformance with town regulations, the Administrator may issue a citation with a fine for violations of this chapter in the following manner:
      (1)   $500 for the first violation;
      (2)   $750 for the second violation;
      (3)   $1,250 for the third violation;
      (4)   $1,500 for the fourth violation;
      (5)   $2,500 for the sixth or greater violation(s).
   (B)   Any previously-issued permit for construction of any structure in the town, in which the violating contractor is or is anticipated to be involved, may be rescinded and withdrawn at the discretion of the Administrator.
   (C)   Noncompliance with the applicable provisions of the town code by a registered contractor shall render the contractor subject to revocation and termination of their registration and licensure with the town without refund of registration fees for same, upon review and order of the Town Building Administrator of the facts and circumstances of the noncompliance. Any contractor whose licensing and registration have been so terminated and revoked by the Town Building Administrator shall be prohibited from seeking registration with the town for a period of two years from the date of the order of the Town Building Administrator revoking and/or terminating the contractor’s registration.
   (D)   Each day of a violation shall be considered a separate and distinct violation for which a contractor and/or tradesman will be daily liable for the penalty of each continuing violation until the violation is remedied.
