§ 92.01 DEFINITIONS.
   DANGEROUS DOGS. Any dog which:
      (1)   Has, off its owner's property, attacked or attempted to attack another animal or livestock; or
      (2)   Has attacked or which has attempted to attack, unprovoked, any human being, whether on or off the owner's property; or
      (3)   Has bitten or attacked a person, unprovoked, with said injury requiring attention and the loss of blood; or
      (4)   Has a history documented with a pubic agency of biting or attacking humans or domestic animals; or
      (5)   Has a known propensity, tendency or disposition to attack, to cause injury or otherwise threaten or endanger the safety of humans or domestic animals; or
      (6)   Has been found to be at-large and has been documented to be at-large by designated town person by Winfield Town Council on three or more separate occasions in a 12-month period.
   DOGS. Vertebrate domestic animals of varying breeds s registered and described by organizations such as the United Kennel Club (U.K.C.), the American Dog Breeder's Association (A.D.B.A.), and the American Kennel Club (A.K.C.).
   DOMESTIC ANIMAL. Animals belonging to species normally kept, harbored, and maintained by persons as pets, irrespective of the particular reasons for which an individual animal is kept or maintained.
   LICENSE TAG and COLLAR. Identification collar and rabies tag of the dog issued yearly to be worn by the dog at all times.
   LIVESTOCK. Cattle, horses, swine, sheep, goats, poultry and other such animals which are ordinarily kept, bred, or maintained for purposes of animal husbandry or commercial breeding, but applies to any such animal irrespective of the particular reason for which such individual animal is kept or maintained.
   NUISANCE (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE). Any dog whose conduct or behavior includes, but is not limited to, such things as habitual or repeated destruction, desecration or soiling of any public or private property, habitual chasing of persons, cars, or other vehicles or running-at-large that cause a disturbance to the peace or cause injury or threat of injury to persons or property.
   RECKLESS DOG. A dog with clear and deliberate or grossly negligent disregard for the safety and welfare of persons and property.
   TO RUN-AT-LARGE. A dog which is loose upon public property or in a public area, or upon private property other than that of the dog's owner or keeper and without the consent of the owner or tenant or such private property, without direct and responsible human control and supervision.
   VICIOUS DOG. A dog which exhibits one of three traits contained in § 92.04.
