§ 74.84 CLAIMING TOWED VEHICLE; TOWING AND STORAGE FEES.
   (A)   Towing and storing fees. The owner of any motor vehicle removed and impounded pursuant to the terms of this title may appear and claim that motor vehicle upon payment of the tow release fee, in the amount of $50, to the Town Clerk-Treasurer, Town Marshal, or duly authorized representative, whereupon the vehicle shall be allowed to be released to said owner, or his or her authorized representative, upon a showing of proper identification, subject to compliance with division (B).
   (B)   Delivery of vehicles towed due to a public safety violation. When a vehicle has been towed by reason of the requirement of public safety or for violation of a town ordinance, that vehicle shall be delivered only to the duly registered owner thereof, as determined by registration of that vehicle, or a person otherwise lawfully entitled to possession thereof, upon payment to the qualified towing contractor of the reasonable costs of the removal, towing, and accumulated storage.
