The Tree Board shall study, develop, update annually, and administer a written annual tree work plan with an estimate of its cost. The plan shall address species diversity, planting needs, hazardous trees, insect and disease problems, preservation, pruning, planting, replanting, removal, or disposition of trees and shrubs in parks, along streets and in other public areas, and a pattern of regular care such as pruning and watering. The plan will be presented annually to the City Council for its review, acceptance, and approval.
