Within a C-2 General Commercial District, no building, structure or premises shall be used, arranged to be used, or designed to be used, except for one or more of the following uses:
(a) Permitted Uses.
(1) Uses permitted in the C-1 District.
(2) Gasoline filling station.
(3) Amusement and recreation, including drive-in theaters.
(4) Drive-in eating establishments.
(5) Automobile, truck, trailer and farm implement sales, service and storage, both new and used.
(6) Wholesale establishments, excluding coal, coke and bulk storage outdoors.
(7) Carpenter, cabinet, upholstering, sheet metal, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, sign painting, painting and similar establishments.
(8) Hardware and building material sales.
(9) Accessory uses clearly incidental to the uses permitted on the premises.

(11) Religious and charitable institutions.

(b) Conditionally Permitted Uses.
(2) Repair services for machinery and equipment, including repair garages and specialty establishments such as motor, body and fender, radiator, motor tune-ups, muffler shops, tire repairing, sales and service, including vulcanizing, subject to Section 1149.05(f).

(3) Apartments that are an ancillary or supplemental use to an existing commercial use subject to Section 1149.05(j).

(c) Only those uses specifically listed herein, and those which are compatible in character to those types may be permitted by the Planning Commission, or the Planning and Zoning Board.
