(a) Titles Three, Five and Seven of this Part Eleven - Planning and Zoning Code shall be known as “The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Windham”.
(b) In order to promote and protect the health, safety, convenience, comfort, prosperity and general welfare of the residents of the Village of Windham, Portage County, Ohio, and to insure orderly growth and development in the Village, Council has found it necessary and advisable to adopt a comprehensive plan of zoning which will regulate the location, height, bulk, number of stories and size of buildings and other structures, including tents, cabins, trailer coaches, percentages of lot occupancy, building setback lines, size of yards, courts and other open spaces; the uses of buildings and other structures and of premises to be used for trade, industry, residence, recreation, and other purposes; and for such purposes to divide the Municipality into districts or zones; and to provide for the administration and enforcement of such regulations.
