A water meter replacement fee in the amount of one dollar ($1.00) per account, per month, is hereby established. This fee shall be placed in the appropriate fund established by the Village Council and designated for the sole purpose of replacing water meters and associated equipment (including computers and the associated software) as the meters wear out, fail, or are otherwise in need of replacement. This fee shall begin to be imposed on the 1st day of August, 2012. From that date forward, no water meter utility customer shall be charged any amount in addition to the fee established in this section for the replacement of a water meter on the premises serviced by the account in question, as long as all payments on that account are current.
