555.02  NOTICE TO CUT GRASS OR WEEDS.
   The owner, occupant or person having the charge or management of any lot or parcel of land situated within the Village, whether the land is improved or unimproved, vacant or occupied, shall within five days of written notice to do so, cut or destroy or cause to be cut or destroyed any Grass or Weeds growing upon such lot or parcel of land, and prevent the same from going to seed, becoming or exceeding a height of eight inches.  Notice under this section shall be served in person on the owner, occupant or person having charge of management of the lot or parcel, or service may be made and is also sufficient when posted on the door of the last known place of residence of such property owner.  A photograph (electronic or otherwise) demonstrating the posting shall be acceptable evidence that Notice has been served under this section.  A single Notice served under this section shall be sufficient and effective for all enforcement action under this section until December 31 of the calendar year in which the notice is served.
