(A) The utility may discontinue service without notice if it determines that the customer has engaged in the fraudulent use of water or if the equipment or meters of the utility have been tampered with.
(B) (1) The utility may require that the customer make proper restitution before service is restored, even if the customer was unaware of any fraudulent use or tampering.
(2) Proper restitution includes payment for any un-metered water use or for the repair of damage to any property of the utility, installation of the proper type of meter assembly or piping, and the payment of a reconnection charge to the utility.
