(A) The schedule of fees for a building permit and other services for the town shall be charged and collected by the Town Clerk/Treasurer as follows, to-wit:
(1) Residential permit, $5, subject to prior approval of the plan and specification of all materials for said structure by the Town Council;
(2) Remodeling in addition to present structure on an improved lot, $2.50, subject to prior approval of the plan and specification of all materials for said structure by the Town Council;
(3) Relocating a residence from one lot to another lot, $5, subject to prior approval of the plan and specification of all materials for said structure by the Town Council;
(4) Commercial building permits, $5, for the first 5,000 square feet, plus $1 for each additional 1,000 square feet, subject to prior approval of the plan and specification of all materials for said structure by the Town Council; and
(5) Mobile and manufactured homes displaying a valid current inspection seal, $3, subject to prior approval of the plan and specification of all materials for said structure by the Town Council.
(B) There shall be no charge for improvements to churches, schools, and public buildings; however, said construction must obtain and display valid town and state building permits, if any are required.
