(A) The use of fireworks, consumer or commercial, which produce bangs and/or pops and/or whistles in excess of normal fire burning or sparks, excepting therefrom sparklers, snap-pops, and party poppers, within the town limits shall be limited and restricted as follows:
(1) Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. on July 1, July 2, July 3, July 5, July 6, and July 7;
(2) Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. on Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day;
(3) Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. on December 31; and
(4) Any other time authorized by the Town Council in writing.
(B) Nothing in this section shall prohibit the following officials from further restricting, or prohibiting, the use of fireworks during the aforementioned periods of time for any weather related or public safety reasons:
(1) Local Fire Chief;
(2) State Fire Marshal;
(3) The Town Marshal; or
(4) Any duly authorized law enforcement official.
