(A) The Clerk-Treasurer is given the authority to invest all city monies that are not needed immediately to carry on city business and to reinvest said immediately to carry on city business and to reinvest said funds at the Clerk-Treasurer's discretion.
(B) All city monies not immediately needed shall be invested by the Clerk-Treasurer in a manner in compliance with the rules and regulations as laid down by state statute and the State Board of Accounts.
