(A) Widows. The surviving spouse of a deceased is entitled to benefits under the 1937 Firefighter's Pension Fund and shall be entitled to receive an amount equal to 33½% of the salary of a fully paid first class firefighter in the unit at the time of the payment of the pension.
(B) Children. A child under the age of 18 years of a deceased member who is receiving benefits under the 1937 Firefighter's Pension Fund shall be entitled to receive an amounts equal to 10% of the salary of the fully paid first class firefighter in the unit at the time of the payment of the pension.
